So far, keeping in view the needs of the customers, eSewa has launched an online bill payment service by the Electricity Authority, which will enable the customers to pay their electricity bills instantly from eSewa.
2. How to pay NEA bill from Isewa?
Follow the procedure below to pay the bill.
Isewa's webpage: Login to eSewa's home page, go to Electricity Bill Payment, check the counter, enter the SC No. and Consumer ID in your bill. After seeing the amount you have to pay, submit.
You can also pay the bill by keeping the SC No. and Consumer ID in your bill from Isewa's mobile APP.

3. Is there any charge for paying NEA bill from Isewa?
By paying the NEA bill itself through Isewa, Rs. There is no charge for up to 500. Rs. 500 to Rs. Up to Rs. 500,000 per bill, Rs. 5 will be charged.
4. What are the features of this online NEA payment service?
- You can understand the amount to be paid and pay immediately.
- Adding counters on a daily basis.
- Payment will be made immediately and the paid amount will be deposited in the paid counter within 24 hours.
5. How to get discount and penalty when paying NEA bill from Isewa?
Rebates and fines for paying bills from Isewa will be in accordance with the rules of Nepal Electricity Authority (for that information you can see the back of your bill) which will be adjusted every day from the system itself.
Serial Number Percentage on the day the bill arrives
2% rebate from 1 to 7 days
28 to 15 days payment of tariff as per bill
3 5% penalty for 16 to 30 days
4 10% fine from 31 to 40 days
5 25 days plus 25% penalty
6. Which branches of NEA can be billed from Isewa?
At present, customers can pay for 170 counters like Bhaktapur, Chapagaon, Ratna Park, Pulchowk, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Itahari, Butwal and more counters will be added soon.
7. Is there a receipt for payment of NEA bill from Isewa?
Yes, after the payment, you will receive the details of the payment in PDF format in the statement of your Isewa account which will be considered as an official receipt.
8. Balance Inquiry shows the remaining amount even after paying the amount seen, why?
The details will be updated in the NEA system during office hours tomorrow after you pay your dues. Therefore, even after paying the amount to you, the remaining amount may have been seen.
9. Is it possible to pay more than the amount received in the bill or not?
You can pay more than your bill.
10. Meter Reader cut the bill, but did not see the bill payment amount in Balance Inquiry, why?
Due to non-update of bill in NEA's system, your bill payment amount has not been seen.
11. What time do I have to pay the bill?
Always pay after 10 a.m. when you pay the bill.
